The exhibition takes place at Awarehouse in the Miami Wynwood Arts District, Dec 1 through Dec 4, 2011. The Awarehouse, 550 N.W. 29th Street, Miami, FL. Also featured will be Hope Anderson’s 15-minute video history of the Hollywood Sign from its beginnings in 1923 to the present day. Licensing Christie's Fine Art Auctions licensed VanCleave's image of the Sierra Towers for their Post War and Contemporary Arts Catalog, The Betty Freeman, Legacy of a Patron collection (May 2009). The licensed image was used to illustrated the current look of the Sierra Towers as painted by David Hockney, which was in the Betty Freeman Collection in Los Angeles. Ms. Freeman was one of Los Angeles' premiere patrons and collectors, supporting and influencing many of the important artists of the 1960's and 70's including David Hockney and composer John Cage. *Exhibit* The Skylark Fine Art Gallery of West Hollywood inaugural group show ended Jan 1, 2009. Skylark Fine Art Gallery opened it's doors in Feb., 2008 and also represents artists Luc Leestemaker, Richard Erdman, and Patrick Marold.
